Having completed a world tour with Warp Records artist Jamie Lidell, Cologne-based producer Lorenz Rhode (Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld) and Lidell get together again, following up the well received ‘Any Kind of Pressure’. Their new offering ‘Sandpaper’ is a proper serving of funky soul power, featuring Lidell’s unmistakeable vocals, creamy Rhodes keys and swing-fuelled beats. Rhode welcomes new project Sound Support, in collaboration with Lars Dale of Dam Swindle (Heist) to deliver a punchy remix sure to get those heads down on the dancefloor.
